Influencer faced backlash over purchasing first home at 21
Katylee Bailey, a 21-year-old influencer, shared a delightful video on both her TikTok and Instagram page, celebrating her achievement of purchasing a home without a mortgage. However, her happiness was short-lived as she was met with a wave of negative comments from trolls, criticising her for sharing her success when others are less fortunate.
Katylee later posted a tearful apology on Tiktok, acknowledging the hostile responses and stating her gratitude for her luck. Despite the negative comments, many of her fans praised her accomplishment and offered support.
Katylee now earns up to £1,000 per video and has become a full-time content creator after quitting university. Katylee currently has a TikTok following of 2.8 million and 371K on Instagram.
