Beyonce wins two BRIT Awards

Despite not being present at the BRIT Awards in London, Beyonce managed to walk away with two awards - International Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year for "Break My Soul." The singer sent pre-recorded video messages to express her gratitude to fans and announced the start of her Renaissance World Tour. Performers at the BRIT Awards included Harry Styles, Stormzy, and Lewis Capaldi.
Fans were quick to snatch up general release tickets to Beyonce's upcoming world tour as they went on sale earlier this month. The tour, which begins in Europe this May and concludes in North America in September, will feature songs from her seventh studio album and is set to draw hundreds of thousands of fans. Beyonce's previous tours have also made an impact offstage, through her initiative BeyGOOD, which she founded in 2013 to support people and programmes around the world.
In addition to her two BRIT awards, Beyonce has made history as the most awarded artist in Grammys history, taking home awards for best R&B song, best dance/electronic recording, best dance/electronic album, and best traditional R&B performance for her latest album "Renaissance." Last month, she was reported to have accepted a $24 million payday for a performance at the new Dubai hotel Atlantis the Royal.
